This is the flow chart of the POSA that shows the overall interaction flow of our project.
The user sees the chair with POSA sensing pad on and the visualization on the computer change emotions and postures according to user's sitting posture.
Initial User Study
These are the initial user study for our project design process. The idea is using the water color paint to get the users' body print of themselves while sitting on the chair.
POSA is a sensor-embedded sitting pad device that monitors and promotes proper sitting posture in children. Using pressure sensors tracking contact points along the back of the user's body, POSA analyzes and visually displays the user's distribution of pressure and their body's ratio in proportion to detected contact points and gives them practical feedback about their posture and sitting habits and a better understanding about what their body is doing and what they can do to improve their posture.
